The VU+ zero certainly addresses my concerns with respect to the user interface, although the issue I face is that I can't get it to work with my Polish "telewizja na karte" smart card which uses the CONAX system. I recently purchased a VU+ zero to replace my current (Opticum HD X110p) satellite receiver as I was fed up with the poor user interfaces of standard satellite receivers. ![]() Mods: please understand that new users may not understand these distinctions and that some discretion should be applied and the intent of the message should be looked at rather than just picking out a key word. So, I'll post again and attempt to remove any reference to anything that may be naughty. Nothing illegal here, just trying to get the smart card read by what I assumed was a CONAX compliant receiver. The Digital Video Broadcasting Project (DVB) is an industry-led consortium of over 250 broadcasters, manufacturers, network operators, software developers. Anyone who read the thread properly would have realised that I was asking a perfectly innocent question about using a legitimate, paid up, smart card with a VU+ zero box in the same way as I did with my old Optimax box. ![]() ![]() I attempted to post this previously but got banned, obviously due to my lack of understanding of the difference between a CAM and an emulator.
